July in Selma, Alabama

I got back to Michigan Wednesday night. I spent a few days in June and most of July in Selma, Alabama. I love going to a place that clashes so much with what I’ve grown accustomed to.

I did a lot of walking around the city and I have some interesting sites to share with you. For now, here’s a picture of my mom and aunt on the Edmund Pettus Bridge. The bridge is the site of Bloody Sunday. I couldn’t imagine that happening today. What do you think would be the outcome if it did?
